There are hundreds of videographers who will capture stunning images of your decorations, your dress, your chic tablecloths, et cetera. We're different. We're filmmakers. We'll get all that, but our main goal is to get beautiful, meaningful images of you.
If we manage to pull that off, the result is a Movie, and not a mere montage. It's something that your friends, your descendants, and anyone with a soul will actually want to watch and enjoy.

Play a little game: as you're looking at other videographers, pick any two videos in their portfolios and ask yourself "if the couples in these videos were swapped with each other, would it make any difference?"
When we start talking about how you want your movie to look, we're going to have one mission: to make the film as unique as you are. No templates.
One of the best ways to do that is interviews. Another is to pick a shooting style that is so unique (something like "we only use 90s camcorders", more info below), that it's unmistakable. We're always interested in hearing your ideas.
No matter what, know that from the minute we start talking, we're going to be working to buck the "conventional wedding videography" trend as much as humanly possible. Your wedding film shouldn't work without you in it.

Pick Your Style
Hopefully you've got some idea of how you want your wedding to look. If not, keep reading.
We always want to see what ideas you have. Feel free to link Pintrest boards, Cosmos clusters, or other inspiration in the form below. Or, if you've already picked your photographer, show off some of their work to us! We are professionals when it comes to matching vibes (literally, that's our job as narrative cinematographers).
Some Common Style Ideas to Get You Started
(The names are links to boards.)
- Vintage: A classic style featuring deep blacks with a high print black, powerful earth tones, often matched with striking BW photography, great for winter weddings, outdoor weddings, and showing off stunning vistas, especially mountanous ones. It carries with it a declaration of refinement and class, and you see it used in a lot of modern high-end destination weddings, in concert with actual vintage shooting methods, such as 8mm film. We do offer a destination package intended for this style, by the same name.
- Autumnal: That perennial "sunny and warm" look you see in engagement photos so often. Looks beautiful on outdoor shoots in forests or fields. There's a lot of variety in this style — we use it to mean everything from the classic Orange/Teal look used in action movies, to the kinds of photos that make you think the couple is actually walking in a magical forest.
- Bright: The pearly-white photo portfolios that make your wedding look like a fairytale. Fun fact: these are actually masterpeices of photographic precision. You have to know all the ins and outs of camera ISO, be a decent editor, have a good eye for good lighting, and absolutely nail your white balance in order to get these kinds of shots, and they are absolutely worth it. Great for any venue with a lot of bright lights.

The Camcorder Minidoc

WARNING: EXPERIMENTAL
This package is shot with camcorders, NOT cinema cameras, and focuses much much more on "documentary/home video" style than our other offerings.
You're given a choice from modern digital camcorders (which look slightly worse than cell-phone video) all the way to old 8mm tape camcorders (we digitize afterwards), which look, like, really bad, but in a vintage 90s way. Here's a good YT video which shows the difference.
We like both of those styles, and if you like them too, then this is a great option. But make sure this is really what you want before limiting your videography to it. We suggest considering some of the other packages and looking at our other projects to get a feel for what conventional videography feels like before you decide.

What is this? Why is it so expensive?
This was an idea we had back in 2024. It was originally planned to offer this package with 16mm film, but we changed to 35 for the extra detail (and moved the 16mm offering to The Vintage Set).
To be clear, 35mm film is cinema-grade (used on large-budget hollywood movies now and since before digital cameras existed), holds a resolution better than 4K (better than 8K, even) and provides, in our opinion, the single best looking, most cinematic image to exist. Feel free to look it up on YT, and check out this somewhat absurd camera test and this pro DoP's overview which compares it to the current best digital cinema camera to exist, the Arri Alexa Mini LF, and finds it superior.
This package budgets for all of the materials, development costs, and crew needed to create stunning 35mm films for your destination wedding. Of course prices change, and your specific preferences for what you want shot on film vs digital (this package mixes both) may have an impact, but the number above gives a good ballpark for what a project like this is going to run you.

Travel Fees
Really simple: you pay what we pay. Within 2 hours of Cincinnati is free, we'll have estimates otherwise. We use the IRS rate for ground milage.
