Bounties

These are projects or ideas that we don’t yet have the time or ability to focus on, due to lack of investment/certainty of ROI, lack of materials, or lack of personnel/models.

If you see something that interests you and feel you may be able to assist in some way, please reach out. I’m always willing to consider trading services, offering profit shares, credits, and other just compensation in exchange for supporting our work.

C-Type Darkroom Printing

Need: $250

Division: Photography

The fastest, easiest, highest-quality, and in many cases cheapest way to make color print... once you've got the machines.

For this initial stage, we'd make use of a local community darkroom to test out the printing method, then likely require more support to bring production fully in-house. This would substantially lower the cost of future color prints.

In-House 8mm Film Development

Need: 1 x Lomo UBP 8mm/16mm 10m Tank or similar

Division: Videography

This would allow us to substantially cut down on development and scanning costs for development of our smaller MP film projects (mostly weddings), and create higher-quality negatives/reels.

LF Film Portrait Popup

Need: $1,500

Division: Photography

This is the approximate cost of the non-consumable materials needed to create a fully-functional Large-Format Live-Print Portrait Popup.

This would be a booth that could be placed in public spaces and booked for events, and would allow one or two operators to take film portraits and then develop them into contact prints on-site. It would consist of a portrait sitting area and a darkroom tent, which would have filtered windows to allow customers to observe the darkroom printing process.

Possible enhancements from there could include digital signage and displays, as well as an IR viewing camera and display, to allow customers to view film changing.

Experimental Portrature

Need: Model

Division: Photography

An collection of ideas I have for some stylized portraits/street portraits involving the use of redscaled film, cross processed film, and other alternative processes and methods.

Catholic Women Portraits

Need: Catholic Woman Model, Studio Time

Division: Photography

An idea I have for some stylized portraits involving the alternative styles of dress commonly found in Catholic communities. Also just need portrature reps.

Catholic Priest Portraits

Need: Catholic Priests/Religious

Division: Photography

An idea I have for a series on Catholic Vocations (in the original sense of the word—excluding marriage). Not sure if this would be straight portrature or more lifestyle focused.
